Laptop
I am planning to buy notebook , I am confused which would be better IBM , Toshiba ,Compaq, Acer or Toshiba.
Well these days they have decreased their prices except IBM ,because of brand name well but if I see over all ummmm then under $800 I what I can purchase is 20GB hard disk, less Ram with limited things yeah but I don’t wanna buy above $1000 for now at least .
If I keep my budget upto this and need 40GB hard disk and good RAM .well it should be overall good…....hey help me out to take most of it ….......

i think go for IBM notebooks only actually ppl who buy ibm r stick to it cant change well but think b44 hey naybdy help yar

Personally I am a Mac guy. But my brother and father both have HPs and they love them. I've used each and they are nice machines. But, both of them have a Dell on their desktop. I don't think you can go wrong w/ either.

I have worked int he computer industry directly for the lst 5 years. Buy a Mac! if you can't aford one because they are ungodly expensive get a toshiba. By far the best Microsoft based laptop. They last forever. I have had 1 sony, 4 Toshibas, 1 IBM, I Dell, and a compaq.
Go with Toshiba...

i suggest you to buy HP laptop b'coz i have used it and they are amazing. i am not only telling this b'coz i m working for HP but its my experience.
